Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Research, evaluate, and apply state-of-the-art AI/ML algorithms and techniques to solve challenging problems across various domains.
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable and robust machine learning models in production environments, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists to refine model specifications, improve data quality, and integrate models into existing software systems.
- Develop and implement MLOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for machine learning models, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and A/B testing to validate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to the architectural design and development of our core AI platform, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities to incorporate new technologies and methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, machine learning research, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of deployed projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy) and/or Java/Scala.
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), and classical ML algorithms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and translate them into practical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field.
